Banting is by far the best thing that has ever happened to me. Never in my life have I ever felt so healthy, happy and full of energy. I have never looked so good either!
I always used to struggle with my weight as well as energy levels and there for my motivation to work out and eat “healthy” foods seriously lacked. I was desperate for change but I had tried “everything”. Then along came The Real Meal Revolution!
As first I was sceptical because it went against all I had been told about “healthy eating” but I decided to give it a shot because I had tried everything else and had not succeeded. I went all in and started Banting as soon as I could. At first it was hard (very hard) not having all my favourite foods like bread and grains and my oh so favourite “pro-nutro”.
I started each day with a big breakfast of eggs and bacon with lots of cheese and I must say it was absolutely delicious. As I was saying, the first two weeks were seriously hard as my body was weaning off of burning carbohydrates for energy and starting to use fat as an energy source. But slowly I started notice big changes, my energy levels were increasing and my usually big appetite was shrinking.
I started to feel amazing, never in my life had I felt like this, it was completely unknown to me. I had and still have more energy than I have ever had. I used to struggle with dry skin, that just disappeared and it’s thanks to Banting too. I also felt incredibly healthy and my sinus disappeared as well. I began to exercise more (because now I could) and my physique began to change drastically. I was becoming lean and looked really good. I couldn’t believe what was happening to me and it just got better and better. Today I am happier, healthier and fitter than I have ever been my whole and it’s all thanks to Prof Noakes and Banting!
