Before I started Banting I was 82 Kg, BMI ~ 30, even though running 35 Km per week training for 10Ks.
Then I found the LCHF diet on Youtube.com through Jeff Volek talk “The Many Facets of Keto-Adaptation”.
I lost half a kilogram per day for the first two weeks and was down 12 Kg after two months.
And now I feel great all the time. No mid-morning hunger. No pre-supper grumpiness. Sleeping better. Sex life has come back. Running as when 15 years younger (I’m 55 now). I can go all day without eating, without much hunger. Loving all the fat I can eat now. Pork hocks – yum!
I wish I could convince all my friends and family (and diabetic sister).
