Many factors led up to the decision take my health and wellness more seriously. My self-esteem was at an all-time low and I wanted to enjoy better quality of life. The primary obstacle standing in the way of my happiness was obesity, which had held me back in so many ways it was scary.
One beautifully sunny afternoon lying under an umbrella on the beach I watched as my kids played and laughed in the waves. Their dad was stuck sweating on the sand and unable to move, as I was too shy to take off my shirt and join them. It was then I realised my obesity was taking away quality time I should have been spending with my kids – precious moments I wouldn’t swop for the world.
My approach as a RMR Certified Banting Coach is informed by statistics and observation, which is underpinned by the key ingredient of motivation – helping inspire you to achieve all the goals you set for yourself.
I believe to begin a new life we need to stop living in the past and look ahead to the future. We need to remember that true change means the decisions we once made are not the ones we are still making today. You are only the person acting in the present – empowering yourself to live life to the fullest.
My group meetings provide an intimate space where you can feel comfortable sharing all your beliefs, hopes and fears. You will learn deeply from the experience of others and exchange knowledge and stories with other Banters all on the same exciting journey to a better life.
