In April 2015 my Banting journey began and I lost over 35 lbs in 3 months. The decision to become a Certified Banting Coach was born out feeling great, sustaining my weight loss and believing in the science behind Banting. I also enjoy a regular stream of complement about my renewed health. As a keen mountain biker I have seen significant improvements in my race completion times, which has been a huge motivation to keep up the good work.
I really admire that advocates of the low carb high fat (LCHF) diet such as Jonno Proudfoot and Prof Noakes have stood in direct opposition to much of what majorities believed about health and nutrition for so many years.
